Global Partners Group

The Global Partners Group at Stirling Baptist supports the church in identifying and supporting mission partners,  as well as being responsible for our corporate mission partnership(s) (currently with Open Doors)

Regional and Overseas We seek to support those called to work in the United Kingdom and overseas to share God’s love for all people and share the Christian faith. We support those in fellowship with the church who are called to teach, alleviate poverty, improve health outcomes, combat people trafficking, etc. We also partner corporately with mission and para-church organisations who share our values and goals.

Global Partners are formally approved and adopted by the membership and receive encouragement through support groups, prayer support and may also receive some financial support from the church, although we strongly encourage them to build up their own individual support base. Partners are encouraged to engage with the church by visiting occasionally and by writing regularly. Financial support is subject to a three-yearly review.

Corporate Partners are charitable mission or parachurch organisations at home and overseas that the church supports financially. Currently (2023 - 2026) the church partners with Open Doors, supporting their work with the persecuted church. Previously the Church has partnered with Cambodia Hope Organisation (CHO) and Freeset (BMS partner in India)

The “Global Partners Group” comprises of volunteer church members who coordinate and communicate the church’s support for its global and regional Partners, who may be working overseas, somewhere in the UK, or may be based in Scotland.
