Articles of Association

Stirling Baptist Church is a Registered Charity that takes the form of a 'Company Limited by Guarantee'.

Every limited company must (by law) adopt a set of 'Articles of Association' that (among other things) make clear:  what are the purpose(s) of the company, how the company will operate, and how it will govern itself

SBC's Articles are approved by members in a properly constituted church meeting and then submitted to the Charities Regulator (OSCR) for approval. 

SBC's Articles are made available to the public on the OSCR website in order that any potential funder or donor can see how we manage our affairs as a charity
