Jesus Revolution Movie - Discussion Guide
Based on the inspiring true story of the spiritual awakening that started in Southern California and spread throughout the United States in the early 1970's, JESUS REVOLUTION stars Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie, and Kelsey Grammer.
The film is about a young Greg Laurie who is searching for meaning and purpose until he meets the charismatic hippie preacher named Lonnie Frisbee.
Together with Pastor Chuck Smith, they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION - one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in American history.
This resource is designed for small group leaders, parents and students who want to make an impact. When used together, the movie and discussion questions can provide a great opportunity for deep and rich conversations. Challenge your ministry, small group, and friends to see the movie together and discuss it afterwards. Take the challenge even farther by inviting people who don't normally go to church.
